What are we working on?
Development continues on Smalltalk MT 64 bit which will run natively on Vista 64 bit. This requires a new compiler and a redesign of the internals.

We are also hard at work on DirectX 10 with a framework and a game engine. DirectX 10 represents a major step forward in the Graphics area with a fully programmable pipeline and some major advances in graphics data management.

Smalltalk MT 5.4 is the latest release. This version includes the DirectX9.0c libraries and the professional version includes the subscription. This means SQL Server access, Web Server, GDI+ graphics and loads of new Windows functionality. The professional version also include a Smalltalk interpreter for use in runtime environments.

Globalization is high on our list. We are enabling more development and runtime support.
